Clarence J. “Cussie” Orgeron passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of 51 years to Hilda Giroir Orgeron. Son of the late Arthur J. Orgeron, Jr. and Eve Guidry Orgeron. Father of Arthur J. Orgeron, III (Wife Daphne), Rene’ O. Doucet (Husband Danna), Connie O. Bryant (Husband Tully) and Beth A. Orgeron. Grandfather of Helena and Joseph Orgeron, Drew Doucet, Jennifer Llamas (Husband Tom), Stephanie and Christine Doucet, Stuart, Phillip and Ethan Bryant, Preston and Devin Tortorich. Brother of the late Lawrence J. Orgeron and Jane O. Encardes. Lifelong friend of Lester V. Rogers. Special thanks and appreciation to Roy and Carol Pelegrin. “Cussie” was born in St. Rosalie, LA and was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. He was a member of St. Rosalie Men’s Club, Golden Opportunity of Ochsner, Empty Nesters and First Class Friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 8AM until 12 Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
