Clara Gilliam Macloud

Clara Gilliam Macloud entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2024. Beloved wife of William Macloud. Mother of Colbert “Bert” Broussard Jr. (Pam) and Mark “Keith” Broussard (Sharon). Grandmother of Kaitlyn Broussard (Hunley), Blake Breaux (Tamara), Colby Broussard (Jenny), and Chase Broussard. Great-grandmother of Nathan, Jacob, and Audrey Breaux; Aiden and Brody Broussard, Sophia and Mia Eaglin.  Daughter of the late James Gilliam, Sr. and Leonia Cormier Gilliam. Sister of Wendel Gilliam (Jenny), and the late Mary Lantier (Daniel) and the late James Gilliam, Jr. (Patricia).

Age 81 years, a native of Crowley, and resident of Luling, LA. Clara was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.    She loved to bowl and cook for her family, and she was the best cook and baker. Clara was also deeply rooted in her faith. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2 PM.
