Chief Shelton Adams of the Jefferson Indians entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Beloved husband of 32 years to Brenda Gulizo Adams. Son of the late Evans and Hazel Easley Trosclair. Father and Father-in-law of Eve Adams Guthrie (Husband Chris). Grandfather of Megan and Cynthia Guthrie. Brother of Jack Adams (Wife Margaret). Son-in-law of Joseph Gulizo and Mary Gulizo. Godfather of Shakey Brooks. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Member of the Longshoreman's Association Local Union 3000, and a United States Army Veteran. Funeral Services and interment were private.
