Charlotte Joy Bordelon Vatter

Charlotte Joy Bordelon Vatter entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2023. Beloved wife of the late George Charles Vatter, Jr. Mother of George Vatter, III (Allison) and Pamela Riley (Duane). Grandmother of Nathan Vatter, Kate Vatter, Candice Galliano (Kenneth), and Thomas Hathcock. Great-grandmother of Adeline, Locklen, Beckett, and Ellodie. Daughter of the late Gaston Bordelon and Kate Lacour Bordelon. Sister of the late Patricia Pierron (late Clinton) and Gaston Bordelon, Jr. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Age 82 years and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Charlotte was an avid artist, enjoying painting, ceramics, crocheting, and crafts. She spent her career as a secretary with Jefferson Parish Schools. Charlotte was a faithful parishioner and active volunteer with Visitation of Our Lady Church in Marrero. She was also known to shop garage sales and to go fishing with friends. She will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until funeral time.
