Charles Joseph Thibodeaux passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017 after a short but valiant battle with lung cancer. He was 85 years of age. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Doris Kaiser Thibodeaux; his parents, Rita Chiquet Thibodeaux and Henry J. Thibodeaux Sr.; brother, Henry J. Thibodeaux Jr. and sister, Emily Thibodeaux.
Survivors include his devoted sisters-in-law, Theresa Kaiser Granier and Evelyn Kaiser Landry; niece and caregiver, Rebecca Granier Ramsak; nieces, Tammie Thibodeaux and Connie Thibodeaux Simon; nephews, Patrick D. Granier, Mark D. Granier and Craig J. Thibodeaux. Also survived by great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
Charles served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps on the Korean front lines. He retired from American Standard and later from Jefferson Parish Water Department. Charles was a longtime member of the VFW and the Marine Corps League.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Westwego. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 PM to 8 PM, resuming on Monday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
