Charles N. Harding Sr.

Charles N. Harding Sr., passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Vikki Tisdale Harding. Father of Clayton Harding (Christi), Hope Robert, the late Charles Harding Jr. (the late Michelle), and Lisa Gros. Grandfather of Taylor, Hunter, Peyton, Clayton Jr., Mason, Chance, Si, Jordan, Amber, Gage, Jacy, Brycen, Kade, Kaylynn, and Trey. Great-grandfather of Elijah, Teagan, Oliver, and Brooklyn. Brother of the late Everett, Donald, Robert and James “Sonny” Harding, Teenie Harding, Erna Frasier, Lucille Frederick, Lynn Kapalski, and Joy Wendt. Son of the late Jessie McClendon and Ernest Harding. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charles served his country in the Signalman’s Corps of the U.S. Army and worked for First American Bank, and later for Occidental Chemical/Oxy Chem and, in his retirement, for Penske Rental. He was a 50-year member of the Grand Lodge of Texas O.E.S. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 11am to 1pm. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment St. Charles Cemetery Mausoleum, Luling, LA.
