Charles E Dampier

Charles E. “Bubba” Dampier passed away on August 5, 2011 at the age of 84 years. He is a native of Conroe, Texas and resided in Belle Chasse, LA. Beloved husband of Claudette Kennair Dampier. Father of Tina Arcement, Mary Gebhart (her husband, A.J.), David, Gary and Robert “Bobby” Dampier. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother and sisters, Richard Raymond Dampier, Ida Reed, Velma Sapp, Anna Lee Mitchum, and Zelda Louise Hodges as well as his parents, Harley Iverson Dampier and Mary Luzanie Gibbs Dampier. He is a U.S. Army Veteran who served his country honorably. Private graveside services were held at Westlawn Memorial Park.
