Carroll Jones

Carroll Orbit William Jones, age 49, entered into eternal rest on October 19, 2023. Husband of 10 years to Tahonas Curley Jones and father of Deion Jones (Naja) and Cassidy Jones. Grandfather of Kali-rae Jones, Noor Jones, and Storm Jones. Son of the late Montrell Jones and the late Wilbert Owens, Carroll was born on July 16, 1974 in New Orleans, LA. Brother of Asheley Owens, Leroy Benn, and the late Eric Jackson. Carroll is also survived by Ah’shakeet, Montrell, Ahmad, and Amari Owens; Charles and Chaz Bates; Erica, Tashelle, and Eric Jackson; Tyrone Casby Jr.;  along with a host of cousins, relatives and friends. Carroll was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School and worked independently as a transport driver. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at 11AM on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St., New Orleans, LA, 70114. Visitation will begin at 10AM. Interment will follow immediately at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
