Carol Lee Verret Thomas passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Raymond E. Thomas, Jr. for 63 years. Mother of Steven Charles Thomas, Jayne Thomas Nicholas (Steve), Raymond E. Thomas, III, (Leigh Ann), and Renee Michelle Thomas. Daughter of the late Nora and Robert Verret. Sister of Laura Wilty and the late Catherine Verret, and Robert Roscoe Verret. Grandmother of Christopher Nicholas, Taylor Fuselier, Ashley Fuselier, and Kate Thomas. Great grandmother of Stella Nicholas. Aunt of Edward Camnetar, Carol Jean Rouillier, Anne Huber, and Vernon J. Wilty, III. Cousin of Gretel Verret, JoAnn Dunn and Helen Boyle Brennan. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11am.
