Cameron "Kimmy" T. Dugas, Jr.

Cameron “Kimmy” Thomas Dugas Jr., admirable father of two, compassionate husband, beloved family member and friend to many, was called to be with the Lord on July 15, 2022. He passed away at his home with his loving family by his side at the age of 53. He was the love of Lisa’s life. Cameron was born on December 3, 1968 in Marrero LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Cameron Dugas Sr. of Marrero, LA, Merlyn Herbert Dugas of Mathews, LA and father-in-law George Thibodeaux of Barataria, LA. Cameron is survived by Lisa Dugas, his wife of 34 years. He is also remembered by his two sons Cameron Dugas III (Hannah Ferguson) and Brett Dugas, brother Duane Dugas (Pamela), sisters Cynthia Soto (Horacio) and Claudia Gassenberger (David), niece and goddaughter Rosanna Soto (Daniel Dorner Jr.), nephew David Gassenberger, Jr. (Holly), mother-in-law Francisca Thibodeaux, godmother Gail Cheramie, aunts Betty Cheramie and Janel Clement, uncle Rudy, three cousins Tesha Gallo, Kevin Percle (Dawn) and Sherri Cabal (Steve), best friends Scott Toups (Belinda), Dodie Jordan (John) and brother at heart, Francisco “Chico” Garcia. Kimmy will be missed forever and in our hearts, always. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday July 23, 2022 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.
