Brian Fred Gegenheimer

Brian Fred Gegenheimer passed away on November 4, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. He was 47 years young.
 
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Geraldine Gegenheimer, his brother, Steve Gegenheimer (Patricia), his sisters, Susan Walker, Brenda Becnel (Warren, Jr.)  his nieces and nephew Sarah Terrebonne (Spencer), Amelia Reyes (Nestor), Zachary Becnel and great nephew Peyton Terrebonne. He also is survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by many friends, who he considered family.  He held a special place in his heart for Birmingham Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his loyal canine companion, Murphy.

Brian was born and raised in New Orleans, he graduated from Brother Martin High School and Loyola University.
 
He lived in Birmingham, Alabama and worked for AT&T for 17 years and was a member of the Communication Workers of America.
 
His family is especially thankful to the doctors and nurses at Ochsner Hospital, the Infusion Center, and all the people involved in his care.
