Brenda Marie Plaisance

Brenda Marie Plaisance entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the age of 79. Loving wife of 51 years to Berthran Plaisance Sr. Daughter of the late Charlie Plaisance and Yvonne Benoit Plaisance of Raceland, Louisiana. Loving mother of Dana Matherne (the late David), Karen Griffin (P-Nut), Berthran Plaisance Jr. (the late Kelly), Darneil Davis (Matt), and the late Kyle Plaisance. Devoted grandmother of Jarrett (Karla), Corey (Kristen), Joel (Amber), Kayla (Brett), Derrick (Taylor), Kyle Jr., Kirk, Matt (Kayley), Devin, Gavin, and Quince. Great-grandmother of Austin, Kaleb, Alise, Kobe, Shanel, Hunter, Connor, Jolie, Brett, Maddie, Harper, Kolton, and Kyle. Sister of the late Dolores Babin (Melvin), Barbara Zeringue (the late Caroll), and Linda Breaux (Rudy). Sister-in-law of Kathy, Bonnie, Patty, Darwin, and the late Peggy. She was a lifelong resident of Bridge City, Louisiana.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Heart of Hospice for their kindness and compassion shown during this time.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, Louisiana on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 9am to 11am. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego, Louisiana.
