Brenda Boudreaux Jones

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Boudreaux Jones. Brenda was a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish and a resident of Avondale for the last 58 years. She is proceeded in passing by the love of her life, Donald L. (Don) Jones. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Hilda Boudreaux; sister of the late Gerald P. Boudreaux, and the late Deborah Boudreaux. She is remembered and survived by her son, Donald G. (Donnie) Jones (Tracey), her daughter, Stephanie Jones Walker (Russell), her nephew and "second son", Bill Boudreaux (Carrie),her grandchildren, Taylor Walker (Mike), Megann Jones Becker (Ryan), Kaitlyn Carnes (Rocky), Bradlee Jones, Shelbi Rayborn (Clay), Courtni Rayborn, and great grandchildren, Conrad and Cohen. She was a retired para-professional employed at Catherine Strehle Elementary and a lifelong parishioner of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Avondale. She was a member of the Golden Agers, which she loved and took great pride in. Brenda was short in stature, but massive in heart and spunk. She will be greatly missed as she made such an impact on those that were fortunate enough to know her.
