Brenda Ann Isemann

BRENDA BURMASTER ISEMANN, of Gretna, LA, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Isemann; loving mother and mother-in–law of Jill and William “Scooter” Myers, Shayne and Wayne Meyers, and Kay and Trevor Smith; proud “BeeBee” of Molly and her husband Brian, Cary, Chance, Jace, Keiffer, Karsen, and Kennedy; daughter of the late Arthur Burmaster and Irma Coleman Burmaster; sister of Artye Russo and the late John Burmaster; sister-in-law of JoAnn Toomy, Henry “Mickey” and Myra Isemann, Janet Putfark, Lucretia and Earnest Phillips, and the late Gerard “Jerry” Putfark; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Brenda was a 1958 graduate of West Jefferson High, retired from Chase Bank, member of the Westbank Lions Club Auxiliary, Twilight Gardeners and the German Heritage, Cultural & Genealogical Society of LA. Brenda loved to travel and was known for her infectious laugh. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 8:30 am until Memorial Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
