Brenda Curry Adams passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the age of 76. She was born in Fordyce, Arkansas, on March 6th, 1950, to Mamie Ruth and Roy Maxwell Curry, Sr.

She is the wife of John Adams; the mother of Nichole Faucheux (Ray); the grandmother of William Cooper IV; and the sister of Betty Minton (Dwight), Sylvia Curry (Jack), and Roy Maxwell Curry, Jr. (James). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, beloved in-laws, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.

A native of Fordyce, Arkansas, and proud resident of Belle Chasse for over 65 years, Brenda graduated from River Oaks Academy in 1968. Brenda began her career as a volunteer with the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office and was successful and well respected as a Senior Watch coordinator for Plaquemines Parish.

Brenda was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. Brenda was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass in the chapel at MOTHE Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, September 14th, 2026, at 11 a.m. with visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, 9030 LA-23 South, Belle Chasse, Louisiana. A reception will be held following the interment at the Knights of Colombus Hall at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
