Bosit "Bommer" Bommarito Jr.

Bosit “Bommer” Bommarito Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old. Beloved husband of Susan Crooks (Fortmayer) for 56 years. Son of the late Bosit Bommarito Sr. and Laura Sacco. Father of David and Susan and the late Bosit Bommarito III. Special brother-in-law to Viola C. Fleming. Brother of Frank (Angelle), Lori Whittle (John), and the late Philip, James, and Fay LaBue. Loving grandfather of Mallory Meinhardt (John), Abbey and Nicholas Figueroa, Bosit IV, and Jude Bommarito. Great-grandfather to Karsyn Wilcox, Macy and Mia Meinhardt. He is also survived by his fur babies, Newton and Bubba Blue.

He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 30 years of service.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10am to 1:30pm. Following his eulogy, he will be interred with his parents at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
