Blanche Louise Diehl

Blanche Louise Ford Diehl, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico on November 5, 1940, and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the age of 84. Mrs. Diehl lived in Harvey, LA.

Blanche is the beloved wife of the late William F. Diehl. She is the daughter of the late William I. Ford and the late Mable R. Stedman Ford. Loving mother of David C. Diehl (Kim). Loving grandmother of Benjamin L. Diehl. She was the loving sister of the late Margaret Ford Day (Green), Dorothy Ford Willingham (Willie), Walter Ford (Laverne), Clifford Ford (Arlene), Ruth Ford Dunn (David) and Betty Ford Campbell. She is also survived by brother in laws and sister in laws, many nieces, nephews, and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Blanche graduated from Cement High School in 1958 in Oklahoma and was Valedictorian. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She worked as a business typist at Oklahoma Gas & Electric before she was married. After she married, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and cooking, watching the Hallmark Channel and football games and she loved spending time with her family.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral Mass that will be at 11 am in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., in Marrero, LA on Saturday June 21, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11 am. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue Gretna, LA.
