Bert Adams Sr.

Bert Adams Sr., passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Barbara Navarre Adams for 55 years. Father of Bert Adams Jr. (Sherry), Steven Adams, (Lynn), and Dawn Adams Drury (Bryant). Son of the late Carleen and Berth Adams. Brother of Keith Adams (Tressie) and Rhonda Latham (Max). Nephew of Sylvia Phillips. Grandfather of Kassidy Ton (Joel), Bert Adams, III, Jeremy Adams, Meaghan Marquize (Blake), Madison Drury, and McKenzie Drury. Future great-grandfather of Tristan Ton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He loved to be with his family and had a passion for hunting, fishing and golf. He retired from Chevron after 35 years of service and then worked for the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Department for 10 years. He was a lifelong resident of Boothville, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Chevron and the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Department are invited to attend the Funeral Service and Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 6pm until 12midnight.
