Bernice Acosta Hamilton passed away on February 20, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard Joseph Hamilton. Mother of Joan Palombo (husband, Darrell), Richard J. Hamilton, Randall G. Hamilton (wife, Gloria) Robert J. Hamilton (wife, Sharon) and Kelly E. Hamilton. Grandmother of Donald Jr. and Jason Irwin, Rachel, Randi, Richard, Sarah, Bryce Daniel and Wren Hamilton, John and Jacob Nicholson. Great-grandmother of Donald III and Ashley Irwin. Daughter of the late Bernadette Escagne Acosta and Alexander J. Acosta. Sister of the late Alice R. Holzhalb, Garnet T. Blume, Delia M. St. John and Harvey Acosta. She is a native of Belle Alliance, LA and resided in Gretna, LA Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
