Bernadette Ann Bonnette

Bernadette Ann Bonnette, 47, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Bernadette was raised in Waggaman, Louisiana and was a lifetime resident of the the New Orleans river region. She was a graduate of LW Higgins High School in Marrero. She was a loving mother of two sons, Blake Jube and Blade Jube. Along with her sons, Blake and Blade, and their dad, B. J. Jube, Bernadette is survived by her fiancé, David Juneau; father Gerald Bonnette, Sr.; stepmom, Lynn Bonnette; five siblings, Gerald Bonnette, Jr., Brian Bonnette, Rachel Bonnette Poplin, Ashley Fox, and Alex Bonnette; two nieces, Savanna Bonnette and Najha Poplin (goddaughter); one nephew, Pason Poplin; her godfather, Samuel Bonnette; and goddaughters, Alexis Albarado and Caitlin Dufrene. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernadette Dufrene Bonnette; an infant sister, Bernadette Marie Bonnette; brother-in-law, Jason Poplin; and godmother, Donna Bonnette Ducote. Bernadette will be remembered for her love of life and her strength. Her smile and laugh were infectious and made others around her want to smile and laugh with her. She was a friendly person who could strike up a conversation with anyone in any setting.
A public visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 15th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with religious services immediately following at 11:00 AM.
