Benjamin Alexander Campbell

April 6, 1982 — January 20, 2024

Benjamin Alexander Campbell passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 41. He was born April 6, 1982 in Gretna, LA and enlisted in the Navy after high school. He was a petty officer 2nd class E5 Mineman and spent 5 years active service and then 1 year Reserves in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed in Ingleside, TX aboard the USS Avenger.  

He loved giving back to the Earth, enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, camping, traveling, and scuba diving. Even towards the end of his life, he wanted his fishing pole to go fishing. He recorded many of his adventures with GoPro. He loved to be self-sufficient and learn new ways to make alternate forms of energy. He was interested in history and enjoyed going to the WWII Museum. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his many nephews and nieces as he was a big kid at heart.  

Benjamin is preceded in death by his father Ralph Campbell, his baby brother and his grandparents Charles F Murphy and Leona B Murphy. He is survived by his mother Antoinette Tucker, his siblings Samual Campbell (Sherry), Christopher Campbell (Stacy), Angela Charbonnet (Nicholas), Daniel Tucker (Amanda), Randy Tucker, Jr. (Ashley), Matthew Tucker (Melissa) and his nieces and nephews Taylor, Andrew, Chloe, Adam & Reese Campbell and Seairah, Ceanna, Noah, Kayleigh-Grace, Ellie, Zane, Isaac, Evie & Levi Tucker. 

Family invites friend to attend a graveside service at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531 on Monday January 29th, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. Arrangements by Mothe Funeral Home.
