Barbara Herrmann Hunter

Barbara Herrmann Hunter, devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2022. Beloved mother of Robin Preston (Charles), Jeffery Hunter (Carolyn), and Sharon Hunter. Grandmother of Edward Castle Prousnitzer (Philip), Brandi C. Simpson (Seth), Cassie, Jessica, David Bordelon (Abigail), Grant Bordelon, Brennan Bordelon, and numerous great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Lena Gros Herrmann and Emil Herrmann, Sr. Sister of Kathy Foret (Roy), Lena Reiger (Walter), Cynthia Herrmann, Emil Herrmann, Jr. (Lori), Brent Herrmann, and the late Linda Herrmann. She will be loved and missed by many nieces and nephews. Age 80 years and a lifelong resident of the Westbank. As a devoted homemaker, she loved taking care of people and had joy caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 5 PM until 9 PM.
