Barbara Ann Barbay Broussard passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Beloved wife of Mark D. Broussard. Mother of Mark D. Broussard, Jr. (wife Paula). Grandmother of Mark “Trey” Broussard, III, Janae Broussard, Micah Broussard, Christian Neller (husband Wade), Nicholas Broussard and Michaela Broussard. Daughter of the late William Thomas Barbay and Rose Randazzo Barbay Markase. Sister of the late Rosemary Barbay Markase. Godmother of Raymond Markase, Jr., Craig Young, Whitney Surbeck and Bernadette St. Marie. Aunt of Marsha Markase Martin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Barbara was affectionately known as Nannie to many. Age 74 years. A native and resident of Gretna, LA.
