Avis Sumrall Gieger

Avis Sumrall Gieger passed away on May 11, 2011. Wife of the late Belvery C. Gieger. Mother of Wilma D. Barnes, Roland H. Gieger and Gloria G. Still. Step-mother of Valerie Saxer, the late Macy Ruiz and Belvery C. Gieger. Daughter of the late Alice and Horace Sumrall. Sister of the late Delton and Benton Sumrall and Jessie Lee Curtis. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was 93 years of age and was a longtime resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM.
