Autry Joseph David

Autry Joseph David entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2023. Beloved husband of Paulette Barroul David for 52 years. Father of Kevin J. David (Mary), Troy A. Chandler (Becky), Kristine A. Chandler, and Connie Sellers (Greg). Grandfather of Kevin David, Jr., Mitchell Chandler (Anna), Kristopher David (Lindsey), and Amber Sellers Jones. Great-grandfather of Blaize Chandler, Zoey Chandler, Oakleigh Chandler, Ari David, and Jackson David. Son of the late Philip C. David and Rita Braud David. Brother of Kenneth David (Cass), Jimmie David (Paulette), and the late Philip J. David (Belle), Donald David (Amanda), and Jennifer D. Ragan (late Pete). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Age 81 years, and a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. Autry attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor School in Westwego. He was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard and a welder with Local 60, Union Carbide, and Brown and Root until retirement. Autry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, going on cruises, casino trips. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his pets. He was so loved and will be sadly missed by many.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 1 PM. Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 AM until funeral time. Interment Private.
