Asuncion Flores Erazo

Asuncion Choncita Vallejo of Avondale, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on September 2, 2026 at the age of 98 following an extended medical illness. She was born in Yuscaran, Honduras. Choncita loved to crochet, knit, sew, bicycling, cooking, gardening and loved her pets. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Ricardo, Dennis, Armando and Robert Vallejo; her grandchildren, Angie Mazerat, Erin, Maldonado, Alyce Vallejo, her great grandchildren, Eliza, Emerson, Emile, and Amelia Moran, and Kyla Vallejo. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11am.
