Arturo Medina

Arturo Medina passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the age of 97, surrounded by his loving family. He is beloved husband of Mercedes Medina. Arturo is the devoted father of Anibal Medina, Maria Elena Medina ( Spina), Christina Medina (Ortiz), Luis A. Medina, Oscar A. Medina, Mara E. Medina, Rebecca Medina (Tamayo), Sergio A. Medina, Griselda Medina (Suazo). He is loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren, Steve Gonzales, Luis Medina, Leonard Gonzales, Laura M. Gonzales, April Ortiz, Eric Espina, Ramiro Ortiz, Ramon Medina, Ingrid Medina, David A. Suazo, Ashley E. Suazo, Rebecca M. Tamayo, Mara E. Medina, Kevin E. Suazo, Oscar A. Tamayo. 18 great- grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Restlawn in Avondale, LA.
