Anne Jarzyk Bethune

Anne Jarzyk Bethune entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late William Curtis Bethune. Daughter of the late John Jarzyk and Julia Danczeska Jarzyk. Mother of Julie B. Hijuelos (Husband Al). Grandmother of Jason Hijuelos (Wife Ann), Jonathan Hijuelos and Jeff Hijuelos (Wife Sarah). Great Grandmother of Aiden, Parker and Spencer Hijuelos. Sister of the late Mary Claudili and Steve Jarzyk. Anne is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She served in the Pacific during World War II as a Navy Nurse for 10 years. Visitation and a Funeral Mass were held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Interment was held in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
