Anna Paoli DiBlasi Evans passed away on January 11, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Wife of the late Anthony DiBlasi by first marriage and the late William Evans by second marriage. Loving mother of Mario DiBlasi (Mary) and the late Francis DiBlasi (Deborah). Grandmother of Jeanine, Monica, Andrea, Derek, Dustin and the late David. Survivors include 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Mario, Franca and Margherita. Daughter of the late Alberto and Fidalgma Andrioni Paoli. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Anna owned and operated the A & A Grill in Algiers which was situated between Behrman High School and Holy Name of Mary High School. Known as “Ms. Anna”, she served a generation of boys and girls and watched them move forward in life. In the years that followed, she became involved in sales with Sarah Coventry Jewelry. Climbing the corporate ladder, she moved from Sales Representative to Regional Sales Manager, earning multiple awards and accolades for excellence in her field. Anna’s electric personality was inspirational and motivating. She can best be remembered in her sales meetings for message of “entusiasmo” to her sales team.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial visitation at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire Avenue in Gretna, LA on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 10 AM to 11 AM. A Memorial Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
