Anita Louise Spahr

Anita Louise Spahr passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on May 17, 2025. She was 76 years.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles E. Spahr, III (Gail) and David T. Spahr (Tasse) along with many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. Spahr, Jr. and Louise Broadtman Spahr and a brother, Daniel J. Spahr (Norma).

Anita was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She graduated from Archbishop Blenk High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She also attended hairdressing / cosmetology school. She retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and had the honor of serving as Queen of the Krewe of Cleopatra in 1967. She will be sadly missed.

Private graveside services were held at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
