Anita Breaux Bourg, age 80, passed away on February 17, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Junius “NuNu” J. Bourg, Jr. Mother of Denise B. Chiasson (Donald), Tammy B. Steele (Wayne), Junius Bourg III (Sherri, Angel, Brandi, Ashley) , Beth B. Clouatre (Darryn), and the late Travis Bourg. Grandmother of Heidi (Matt), Donald III, Ashleigh, Cody, Dana (Josh), Dustin (Tasha), Junius IV (Jessica), Austin, Gavin, Hunter, Greyson, Dillion, Tara(Mike)and Taylor. Great-grandmother of Alexis (Adam), Matthew Jr. (Kyleigh), Malorie, Madison, Driston, Layla, Rodney, Caysen, Jant, Jacelyn, Gracie, Adalynn, Lenox, and Dru. Anita was born on November 7, 1942 in New Orleans, LA to the late Joseph W. Breaux, Sr. and the late Liza Sapia Breaux. Sister of Lyle Breaux (the late Alice, Pat), Peggy Tassin (the late Warren), the late Raymond Breaux (the late Thelma), the late Joseph W. Breaux, Jr. (Sandra), the late Maebelle B. LeBouef (the late Albon), and the late Geraldine Pizzetolo (the late Raymond). She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins. Anita was a resident of Marrero and loved being home with her family. She served as Secretary of Marrero Assembly of God for many years. She was also involved in Missionettes. She will be dearly missed by all. Friends and family are invited to attend a service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero, LA at 11AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
