Alyssa Jade Marks is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the special place she held in their lives. Alyssa is lovingly remembered by her mother Kacie Marks (Blake) and her father the late JJ Sampey; her fiancé, Ivan Duplechin; and her son, Beaux Joseph Duplechin. She is also survived by her siblings, Bryson and Peyton Sampey; and her grandparents, Janel (Scott) Graves, Norman (Sherri) Sampey and Robert Marks. She was preceded in death by her Nana Carrie Lerille and Maw-Maw Amy Sampey Alyssa is also survived by her beloved nephew (Myles), as well as aunts and uncles, Cody and Sarah Marks, Jay and Rebecca Lerille, Brooke Graves; cousins (Blair, Sophie, Bunni Jacey and Blaze), and Nanny Adrienne who will cherish her memory always. She is also survived by Gail Marks and many extended family members in Texas who loved her dearly. The family is grateful for the prayers, love, and support during this time. May her memory be a blessing, and may her love live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Alyssa's life will be held on April 16, 2026 at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072, at 3 p.m. Visitation will be held from 12pm until 3pm. The family will gather for a private disposition at a later date, honoring her memory in their own way. Family and friends can view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
