Alvin John Sons, Jr

Alvin John Sons, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the age of 75. Beloved father of Alvin John Sons, III. Son of the late Rose and Alvin Sons, Sr. Brother of Steven George Sons. Grandfather of Aaron John Sons. He was a Vietnam War Veteran who served honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a carpenter and loved motorcycle riding and dancing. He was a good friend to all, visiting them if they were sick. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 1:30pm.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9am until 1:30pm.
