Alvin G. Robin of Arnaudville, LA passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. He was the beloved husband of the late Deborah Dufrene Robin and a loving father of Denise Robin Bourgeois (Wilton) and Keith Robin (Chrissy). Grandfather (“PaPop”) of Hannah Boni (Lorne), Seth Mistrot, Taylor Robin (Christine), Nicholas Bourgeois (Allie), Konner Robin, Emily Bourgeois, and Natalie Robin (Cade Williams). Great-Grandfather (“Old PaPop”) of Ophelia, Amos, Lucas, Lawson and Kolter. Son of the late Alvin Robin and Cecile Marks Robin. Brother of Madeleine Falgout (Coonie), Michael G. Robin (Michelle), the late Charles R. Robin, and the late Sandra Cavanaugh (the late Daryl). Al was blessed with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was also a dedicated friend of Bill W. for over 23 years. Before moving to Arnaudville, Al was a long-time resident of Bridge City, LA and retired from the Westwego, LA Post Office. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating his life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1:30PM in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero, LA. Visitation will begin at 9AM. Interment will follow immediately at Restlawn Park in Avondale, LA.
Pallbearers will be Lorne Boni, Seth Mistrot, Taylor Robin, Nicholas Bourgeois, Konner Robin and Cade Williams.
