Alvin Edward LaCaze

Alvin Edward LaCaze entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2025. Beloved husband of Rita West LaCaze. Father of Marcia Wallow (Robert) and Tiffany Breaux (Ryan). Grandfather of Brett McGovern (Chelsea), Tori Monson (Mons), and Devin Breaux (Jaci). Great-grandfather of Logen, Cole, Chase, Callum, Eliza, Hudson, Stella, Evelyn, and Lettie. Son of the late Joseph LaCaze and Bessie Bass LaCaze. Brother of the late John LaCaze, Douglas LaCaze, Sr., Milford LaCaze, Caston LaCaze, Curtis LaCaze, Barbara Leyser, Gleta Dear, Hazel Green, and Hunky Bray. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 77, a native of Oakdale, LA and resident of Waggaman, LA. Alvin was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired after the closing of Avondale Shipyard.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 12:30 PM. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 PM.
