Alma Marie Jasper

Our beloved Alma Jasper entered into God’s Kingdom on December 5th at the age of 66. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and Nonna, Alma also loved spending time with her family, dancing and traveling the world. She lived a very colorful and adventurous life filled with love and laughter. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Now that Alma has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Alma’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Alma joins her parents, Lawrence Jasper and Rosalie Barcelona in Heaven. She is survived by her spouse Mike Groetsch, her Daughter Shelley Jasper (Elwin) and her son David Guidroz (Amanda). Her grandchildren Harley Whalen (Michael), Elwin Durapau Jr (Kristen) ,Catherine (Bella) Guidroz, Garrett (Landyn) Arb and Michael Guidroz. Her great grandchilren Nevaeh-Marie, Mykaela-Rae, Aryan, Ellah-Louise and Merrie-Jayne. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday December 17, 2022 at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, Louisiana 70072. Family visitation will begin at 9 a.m.; public will begin at 10 a.m. with services beginning at 1:30 followed by a procession to Westlawn Cemeteries, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana.
