Allen Anthony Haik

Allen Anthony Haik, age 88, passed away on August 22, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Julia “Peggy” Kanapaux Haik; son of the late Michel and Laurence Haik; brother of the late Lawrence and Shirley Haik and Flora Myers; father of John Russel Haik (Glynis), Michelle Haik, and James Allen Haik (Shannon); and grandfather to Nicholas, Colin, and Allyson Burgess, Ryan, Reagan, Keegan, and Logan Haik, and Caleb and Ayden Haik. A native of Edgard, Louisiana and resident of Algiers, Louisiana, Allen is survived by many special nieces and nephews. He honorably served in the Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959, and retired from Avondale Shipyard in 2004.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Allen’s Memorial Service at 11am on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, Louisiana; visitation will begin at 9am.
