Allen Guidry, Sr.

Allen Guidry, Sr., age 57 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Survived by his wife of 32 years, Gail Marie Guidry; his children, Brandi Lynn (William), Allen, Jr., Britney Marie (Chris); his grandchildren, Braiden, Brianna, Casey, Jr., and Chase. Son of Adolphe “Al” and Gloria Guidry. Brother of Susan Koob (Kevin). Godfather of Kindy K. Duhe (Paul) and many nieces and nephews. Allen is a former employee of Avondale Shipyard, Owner and Operator of Guidry’s Cleaning Service for the last 24 years. He was a great husband, an amazing Father and an extraordinary Grandfather. He was also a loving son and always ready to help whenever someone was in need—He will be deeply missed. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Bridge City Avenue, Bridge City, LA on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the church on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 9AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church on Monday at Noon. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
