Allen "AC" Camardelle

Allen “AC” Camardelle entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the age of 70. Beloved Fiancé of 20 years to Lori Savona and husband of the late Tammy Camardelle. Son of the late Roy Camardelle and Frances Camardelle. Loving father of Shantelle Rodriguez (Abel Rodriguez), Joel Camardelle (Meagen Hines), Trey Camardelle (Samantha Camardelle), Keatin Camardelle and the late Allen Camardelle, Jr. Grandfather of Syleena Camardelle, Neivia Camardelle, Joel Camardelle, Jr., Elijah Camardelle, Luke Rodriguez and Declan Camardelle. Brother of Betty Rodriguez, Gayle Camardelle Coba and the late Roy Camardelle, Jr. (the late Gladys Camardelle), the late Yvonne Morris (the late Lloyd Morris) and the late Terry Camardelle (the late Bonnie Camardelle). He was loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members. As an outgoing Westwego native, Allen was well known around the community. As he traveled throughout the Westbank, he often heard people saying, “What’s up AC?” He truly enjoyed interacting with the people he knew in public to reminisce about the good old days and catch up with friends. He loved building cars, talking about the Saints (when they’re winning) and spending time with his family. In his younger days, Allen spent several years playing baseball around town, competing in several tournaments. In addition to playing baseball, he coached various age groups from T-ball to teens for many years, winning multiple championships. As the proud owner of AC’s Plumbing Company, he was respected by his clients and was the go-to for everyone’s plumbing needs. To help clients out, he was known for providing discounts whenever someone was in need. Everyone knew…when someone had a plumbing question, call Allen; a vehicle question, call Allen; a question about Westwego, call Allen. He definitely was the person people counted on to know the answer to all of these questions. His continued involvement in the community made him well-known and well-liked. Heaven has gained yet another Angel from us, but we’ve also gained another Angel watching down on us each and every day. Rest in peace, AC; you will be forever loved, remembered and missed by everyone who loved you. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 6PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Fourth Street and Avenue A in Westwego at 1:30PM.
