                                                         ALINE WEGMANN
                                                              1954 – 2023

Aline Wegmann, a native of the enchanting city of New Orleans, gracefully departed this world on October 22, 2023, cradled in the tranquility of her cherished home in Harvey. She leaves behind a legacy of boundless love and devotion.

Aline was the embodiment of a nurturing and affectionate mother, showering her children, Yogi Wegmann, Denise Rachuba, and Patches Wegmann, with an abundance of unwavering love and guidance. Her heart knew no bounds, extending its warmth to her ten precious grandchildren: Zarian, Lauren, Zachery, Subastion, Lilyann, Lexie, Skyler, Elaine, Novia, and Mariah. Each of them held a unique place in her heart, embodying the very essence of her life’s joy and purpose.

Aline was also a great-grandmother of Zarian’s son, Zephaniah as she will now watch over him with all of her might.

A devoted sister, Aline cherished the company and bond of her surviving sisters, Shannon Griffin and Pam Flanagan, with whom she shared a lifetime of shared memories and laughter. Though she is now reunited with her late sister, Betty K. Robinson and brother Al Gumpert, the indelible mark they made on her life remains etched in her soul.

As she ascends to her celestial abode, Aline’s spirit remains an everlasting presence, serving as a guardian angel to all who were fortunate enough to have known her.  Her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit have left an enduring impression on those whose lives she touched. Though we mourn her physical absence, we find solace in the knowledge that she is watching over us, guiding us with the same love and tenderness that defined her earthly presence.

Aline, as we bid you farewell, we do so with hearts heavy and with sorrow but uplifted by the profound honor of having known you. Your role as a nurturing mother, devoted grandmother, cherished sister, and beloved aunt will forever be cherished and revered. Rest peacefully dear mother. Your love will remain etched in our souls for all eternity. You will be deeply missed and eternally remembered.

Love your kids (Mama)
