Alice Tierney Costello

Alice Tierney Costello, entered into heaven and into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador J. Costello; parents, Edward J. and Sophie Camus Tierney; siblings, Michael Tierney Sr., Patrick Tierney Sr., Jeanette DeLuca, Marguerite “Rita” Acosta, Laura Tierney; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Alice enjoyed music and dancing. She was a former member of Belle Terre Golden Agers, Silver Tappers and the Moose Lodge. Alice was a devoted parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Internment Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna. In lieu of flowers, family prefers Masses in Alice’s Honor.
