Aldo J. Casseri, 84, resident of Terrytown, Louisiana, passed away on May 23, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on February 4, 1939, son of the late Bruno and Teresa Casseri.
He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1961 and was the Nittany Lions biggest fan until the very end. He earned his MBA at Loyola University, On August 27, 1960, he married Joan Kisslo Casseri in St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Plymouth, Pennsylvania.
He served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander from 1961 to 1985. After his discharge, he was employed by Van Meter and Associates in New Orleans.
He is survived by the Cool Casseri Crew; his wife, Joan Casseri, his six children, Nicole, Thea, Paul, Christopher, Kara, and Adam, his sixteen grandchildren, Jordan, Brennan, Niki, William, Thea, Ashton, Owen, Sophia, Mallory, Andrew P., Andrew C., Collin, Megan, Leo, Connor, Teresa, and Tyler, and his great-granddaughter, Teresa.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Casseri (Eva), and his granddaughter, Angela Edler. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton St. New Orleans, LA 70131 on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11am. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am. Intement at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Huntsville, PA at 11am on July 24, 2023.
