Adelaide Garel Delery Lohrke passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Lohrke by second marriage and of the late John Delery by first marriage. Mother of Harvey Delery (Mary Kaiser) and Bernie Delery (John). Daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha Garel. Sister of the late Joseph, Harvey, and Victor Garel. Aunt of Cindy and Joey Garel. Grandmother of Harvey B. Delery, Jr. (Lorina Bendo Delery) and Michelle Delery Stratman (Haley Bull). Great grandmother of Lindsey Bendo Delery, Carolyn Stratman and Carina Bull. Also survived by a host of cousins. She was actively involved in the Algiers United Methodist Church, enjoyed traveling, visiting friends, and volunteering in community groups. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:30pm.
