Zoe Snear Dematteo

Zoe Snear DeMatteo passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the age of 89. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resided in Belle Chasse, LA for the past 7 years. Beloved wife of the late Sebastian DeMatteo Sr. Mother of Lena A. DeMatteo, Ralph DeMatteo Sr. (Theresa), Sebastian DeMatteo Jr., the late Servio DeMatteo (Lois) and Henry DeMatteo. Grandmother of Vicky (Danny), Edward (Hope), Ralph II (Cherie) and Emma DeMatteo. Great-grandmother of Shannon Hicks, Sebastian DeMatteo, Xavier Nevarez, Shawn DeMatteo, Sheldon DeMatteo, Shelby DeMatteo, Ralph DeMatteo III and Valentino DeMatteo. Sister of the late Florence Snear, Lois Bodenheimer and Joyce Lee. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was a loving and amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
