Zenobia (BeBe) Rebstock Alario passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Thursday, January 20th with her family by her side.
She was born in New Orleans to the late Harris Rebstock and Margaret Stokes Rebstock. BeBe lived all of her life in Westwego, LA.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Daniel P. Alario Sr., who was the love of her life. She is also survived by her sister
Hazel Rebstock Dewey and her sister-in-law Barbara Alario Ballas (Charles).
She was the devoted mother of Kathy Alario Choquette (Walter), Daniel P. Alario, Jr. (Louise) and Eva Alario Ruttley (Ernest).
She has nine grandchildren whom she adored: Jacques Choquette (Heather), Kathryn LeCron (Ross), Jennifer Levert (Scott), Daniel Alario III (Katherine), Jonathan Alario (Julie), David Alario, Mike Jr., Benjamin and Jack Corcoran.
She was also the Great Grandmother of John Tarsitana, Gabriel and Gabriella Levert, Lane and Lily LeCron, Mackenzy and Amelia Choquette, Kathryn and Daniel IV Alario. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many who called her Aunt Bebe.
BeBe had a wonderful life and marriage. Her husband Daniel would not be where he is today without the loving support from BeBe.
BeBe was the life of the party, always laughing and smiling. She will truly be missed by all.
The family would like to thank Dr. Marc Matrana, a close family friend from Westwego, and the ICU nurses and doctors at Ochsner.
Visitation is on Thursday, January 27th at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego from 10:00 to 12:00 noon followed by Funeral Mass with Fr. Emile Buddy Noel officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.
