“Loni” Xi Thi Rodriguez is the former wife of Rudolph Rodriguez. Long-time friend of Kham Nguyen. Mother of Robin Fouquet (Trevor), Lien Thi Kim Tran (Dung) and Hoa Thi Tran (Muon). Loving Grandmother of Cole E. Wierzbicki, Grace E. Rodriguez, Trinh Phuong Tran, Trang Phuong Tran, Phuong Que T. Pham, Dung Que T. Pham and Thao Que T. Pham. “Loni” Xi Thi is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren as well as many friends in the community who she has known for more than 50 years. “Loni” Xi Thi was 80 years old and from Harvey, Louisiana. She passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 peacefully at her home with family surrounding her. She was born to her parents, the late Tam Van Nguyen and the late Nhu Thi Nguyen on June 20, 1942 in Saigon, Vietnam. “Loni” Xi Thi worked as a Deli Clerk and Butcher for over 25 years. She spent most of her years working at Schwegmann’s Grocery Store and spent many years at Casey Jones Grocery Store as well until her retirement at the age of 65. When she was not working, she spent lots of time cooking, socializing with friends and caring for her grandchildren. “Loni” Xi Thi is survived by many long-time friends who also traveled from Vietnam and resided in Harvey for the last 50 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 8:30AM until 10AM.
