Wayne Joseph Cook

Wayne Joseph Cook entered into eternal rest on August 17, 2022. Beloved father of Christopher Cook (Tanya). Grandfather of Dylan Cook and Zachary Cook. Son of the late William Cook and Estelle Wetzel Cook. Brother of the late William Cook Jr., Raymond Cook, Robert Cook, and Richard Cook. Age 71 years, a native of Gretna, LA, and resident of Metairie for the last 17 years. Wayne started his career with Perez Fabricators where he worked as an Estimator. He then moved on to Strike-n-Arc where he worked as a Project Manager/Estimator. He finished out his career with Project Consulting Services where he worked in the Engineering/CAD Dept. Outside of work he enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening. He was the ultimate “Do It Yourself” guy. He was his own Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic, Carpenter, Concrete Mason, etc. Never believed in having someone do something that he knew he could do himself. He will be deeply missed.
