Ms. VIcky Scott Mete passed away peacefully on Februaru 3, 2021. She was 58. Vicky was born in Fairhaven, New York to Ruth and Gilbert Scott October 10, 1962.
Vicky met her husband Jason when they were in their teens in New Orleans, La. The two of them spent time traveling before moving to Alaska. Vicky and Jason then decided to settle down in Mississippi and open a flea market in the hopes of an early retirement. Vicky loved nature and she was an avid gardener. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Vicky was the matriarch of her family and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Vicky is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Scott and Ruth Bauroth Scott; her husband Jason Mete and her siblings, Terry Scott and Karen Guidry.
Vicky is survived by her children, Jennifer Deitrick (Josh) and Michael Mete, her grandson, Cody Bush, her sister, Suzy Scott Sullivan (Mark), her nephew Christopher Guidry, and her neice Terri Kinler (Jason).
A private memorial service will be held in VIckys honor at a later date and time.
