Vernal Breaux Tassin

Vernal Breaux Tassin passed away peacefully on December 18, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Hanson Anthony Tassin. Mother of Deborah T. Bellanger (Craig), Kirk J. Tassin (Janet) and Brenda M. Ourso (Joey). Grandmother of Ryan Bellanger (Tracie), Tammy Chacon (Fernando), Erika Plaisance (Josh), Kirk Tassin Jr., Jeremy Ourso and Jordan Ourso. Great-grandmother of Blake, Zander and Loralei Bellanger, Ethan and Brayden Chacon, Brody, Caden and “Baby” Plaisance, Kirk Tassin III and Kadence Tassin. Sister of the late Webster, Leslie, Earlene, Francis, Wisner, Elwood, Ellaree, Gilbert, Curtis and Ivy. Daughter of the late Augustine and Florence Guidroz Breaux. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Visitation of Our Lady School and Church, Tassin Equipment Repair and General Work Products are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
