Vera Buras Frelich, age 93, passed away on June 17, 2021. Loving wife of the late John Clarence Frelich for 51 years. Mother of Sandra Frelich, Darryl Frelich (Debi), and the late Randy Frelich. Grandmother of Rachelle Knighten (Mike), Jennifer Aucoin, Cortney Frelich Brown (Kate), and Brent Frelich. Great-grandmother of John Paul Catalanatto (Meghan), Macie Knighten (Adam), Devin Aucoin, Julia Aucoin, Bailey Brown, Luke Balestra, Cain Brown, Brelynn Frelich, and Beau Balestra. Great-Great Grandmother of Olivia Rose Catalanatto and Harrison Catalanatto. Born on January 17, 1928 in Empire, LA to the late Herbert Buras Jr. and the late Helen Buras of Empire, LA. Sister of Robert Buras, the late Jerry Buras, and the late Marvin Buras. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Vera was a long-term employee of Port Sulphur Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, in Harvey on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5PM til 7PM. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 LA-23, in Port Sulphur. Interment will follow after mass at Nairn Cemetery.
